Welcome to Denver City, located in
Yoakum County on the far west side of Texas with
approximately 4,000 of the friendliest residents
around. Founded in 1935 with the successful strike of
oil, and making history ever since. Denver City is the
last west Texas town created solely on the discovery of
oil.

Visitor Information
Center conveniently located at 120 N. Main St.
Visitor Center hours are
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on
Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Our friendly and
knowledgeable staff will make sure you have all the info
you need to make the most of your visit! Be sure to
